The Navy Seals have been in existence for almost fifty years. Rarely do we hear anything of their activities. Seals consistently do the most dangerous and difficult tasks in the military and intelligence community; and they do so in almost complete anonymity. The publicity surrounding Bin Laden's death at the hands of Navy Seals has shined an unusual and probably unwelcome spotlight on their efforts. But it is good to know that their extremely difficult training and preparation paid off. I hope the Seals get some satisfaction in realizing the people they protect are grateful.
